28th August 2006 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: NW Wind Stength: 18-25 knots Surf / Sea State: 2 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 16ºC Sea Temperature: 16ºC Weather: Sunny spells Max Speed: Distance Covered: Started off all on my own with my 5.7m sail and naish Hybrid Freewave 86. Nicely powered, but dificult bumpy conditions so never completely comfortable. AndyW and Steve bus joined me after a while on 5.7m(ish) sails, but they didn't last long as the wind picked up a bit. I held on for a while before changing down to my 5m...What a difference, the board came alive, nicely powered an flying across the blue water in the sunshine. A few nice jumps and some nice little wave rides before heading back to work. |
